Are You Pondering What I'm Pondering?

deanus-ah-um: whiteslickrick: My favorite teacher in the world won $25,000 today. There’s my dumb face on the far right grinning like a moron. It was the best day. I never reblog things, but this post most definitely deserves it. Here’s to the man who’s part of the reason I write as much as I do. This man is the reason I always carry a notebook with me, and the reason why Zbigniew Herbert books are on my shelf. He’s the person who helped shape my views on mortality when my great-grandmother died, who helped hone my ability to write and think critically (still, as it will forever be, a work in progress). I only was in his class for one semester, but he was so integral to my education in high school. Mr. O immensely deserves this honor.
